I emailed this to Eset but have yet to recieve a reply... I get what seems like ten thousand logs a day from the firewall saying one of the listed below. --------------- 4/24/2008 9:29:50 AM Communication denied by rule [insert IP addresses] UDP Block outgoing NETBIOS requests System NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM 4/24/2008 9:22:39 AM Communication denied by rule [insert IP addresses] UDP Block incoming SSDP (UPNP) requests C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE 4/24/2008 9:19:05 AM Detected DNS cache poisoning attack [insert IP addresses] UDP 4/24/2008 9:16:04 AM Communication denied by rule [insert IP addresses] UDP Block outgoing SSDP (UPNP) requests C:\Program Files\Xfire\xfire.exe XPMCE\Administrator -------------- Now that last one happens with other applications such as MSN messenger & bittorrent. I keep reading routers along the lines of the DNS issue so if it helps any to know, I have a D-Link wireless router between my cable modem & computer so my brother can use his computer. Anyone have an idea what's going on?
