    hello,
is there anyway to be able to display two panels in vista without completely replacing explorer with another file manager?
you can surgest some of the best file managers which look vista ish.
but power desk looked to much like explorer from xp and lower.
when i tryed power desk in windows 2000 a few months ago the two panel view was very useful.
    thanks in advance

As a file manager suggestion Directory Opus is the best i've used.U can make it look how u want.I find it expensive though. But u can use one month trial(a annoying nag screen will apear during 1st month) and request after 60 days free certificate(no nag).If u will get used to it i think you won't use another one.

You might also give a shot at QtTabBar ; while it doesn't display dual panels at once, it add tab panels in native XP/Vista explorer (and a bunch of other nice optional twists and plugins, too).

XP, Vista can't do the two panel view and that's why I replaced it first by Total Commander and now by Xplorer2.
They even have a free version: Xplorer2 Lite

    Can't do without. :)
