I know lots of people have asked about firewalls in this forum. This is slightly different. I am looking at getting opinions on two combos.

Which combo would you choose .. and why .. for better all around security.
ESS + Threatfire? or. NOD32v3 + Comodo PF?

Since this isn't a support question, it has been moved from the ESET forum to this forum. Confine the discussion to programs mentioned.

    Thanks.

Sorry abt that. Glad to be in the right forum.

What you think of the two combos? Or better, what does threatfire offer that Comodo PF does not?

If you want quiet protection, go for the first combo.

If you want the stronger HIPS (Comodo's Defence+), then go for the second combo.

I would definitely recommend going with the second combo. Even beter NOD32 + CFP (w/ D+) + SAS will be more secure and probably almost as light. Good program choices. :D

"Confine the discussion to programs mentioned." SAS wasn't.
