just curious,do these have 'spies in them

    hello everyone,1st am useing ie IE5.5,(don't like IE6.1 BECAUSE OF BLUE TINT) on Win98se, but am thinking maybe of trying OPERA or Mozilla browser for faster (page openning),,
    but am wondering DOES ANYONE know,(have heard some say) do these broswers contain "spi's". thanks & take care ok, "FF"

    Both the browsers you mentioned contain no spyware.
    The freeware version of Opera does display adds.

    Hello FF just saw your post. You might want to check out the Firebird browser. No nasties of any kind. :D

    Hi.

    If you're looking for a browser package with email I'd go with Opera.That is if you don't mind the banner ads in the free version.Opera works well with my Outlook Express account.

    If you are looking for a browser only,Firebird is good.
    You could also add the Thunderbird mail program to go along with Firebird.I never tried Thunderbird.
