I have three questions concerning Dr.Web.

    1. When I first start up the computer, and all the taskbar icons are loaded, the Dr.Web Spider Guard Is Active balloon pops up for about 5 or 6 seconds, goes away for about 2 seconds, and then pops up again. It does this 5-6 times and then stops. Is this normal?

    2. Is there a log file that shows the time that the updates have taken place? When I hover over the Dr.Web icons, it shows the date of the last update, but not the time that the update had occurred. When I open the scheduler, it shows when the next update will occur.

    3. It is now 3:05 PM Pacific Daylight Time. The date of the last update is......

23.03.2008 (332730 records). What time of day do the updates usually occur?

Oh no, the spider Guard Is Active balloon just started popping in and out again as I type this. o_O

    1. not a clue, check with support.
    2. logs are available from your start menu > drweb > logs, if your a vista user, load up the vista scheduler to check your updates.
    3. updates usually occur between 7am - 7pm, in your time that would usually be 12 noon - 12 midnight.

Thanks for the information CSJ. I found the log for the updates on my own, but didn't get here in time to edit my post. :p

I guess I'll contact support about the pop up thingy.
