Paul and moderators have an almost magical talent for smoothing out developing potential rough spots; that takes patience and understanding. There is a saying that goes, "Patience is the most divine of all virtues.'' When you participate in Wilders, you're almost on Holy ground. (I said "almost") ;)

I would think it is probably a combination of all that you have listed as choices. The people here at wilders don't treat you as inferior or try to give you a quick answere to a question. They actually do treat everyone as family regardless of how long you have been coming here. They will go out of their way to try and help anyone member or not, To me that is as close to a family as I have found without a blood connection. This may sound hokey but I truly feel priveledged to be allowed to participate in this forum. I have been to other forums but not one of them gives me the feeling of belonging that I get here. That is what I believe draws people here in the first place and then when they get here they find how knowledgeable the people here are. And how eager they are to help if they can. With this kind of core I think that wilders has a very bright future. I salute all of the members here. You deserve it.

thats wat makes wilders so sacred place to visit :D
i think u said wat we all want to say... the poll will at last stand as which feature of wilders is best than others instead of being why wilders is diff frm others ;) ;)
i should have kept an option.... "ur second home"
some forums says u can register freely but there will be limitations and unless u pay an amount u cant do this and that in the forum... limitations come on ... i have then one question... forum or evaluation version program?? i thought they were here to help people... its not that one cannot pay to register ... but the point is u bring out the business attitude instead of a friend...
its a diff feeling once u type www.wilderssecurity.com and then
a future more bright than sun
a life that we pray to never end
    my salutes too for yall
to each and every friend :)

I am a memeber of and have perused several computer security forums. You can hardly find one as friendly and at the same time as helpful as Wilders. ;)

echo all that has been said . Its a credit to paul wilders ( even if he does suck a joint in his profile) . And the excellent moderators who have become freinds to us all, and the great retired moderators . Then theres the members who we seem to love and hate lol . All making a tapestry of rich ness and warmth . thank you all .

I THOUGHT I'd seen that picture somewhere! The late, lamented and oft-maligned Frank Zappa: a true genius.

It's like your motto, solarpoweredcandle: Go with the flow! ;)
You should try it once; come over here (Holland=pottparadise ;)), we've got great stuff, and though officially illegal (to trade), you wont get busted to smoke the stuff!
Strange country we're living in, right Paul? :)

    Relax :) and regards,

    slammer,

You can say that again ;)

On a side note: it has been decades ago since I touched the stuff (high school, if my memory doesn't play tricks on me) ;)

Hey slammer_JvA thanks for the invite.

    Heres a nice recipe
    Stir Fry Bud

    1 Red Pepper
    1 Green Pepper
    1 Yellow Pepper
    1/2 small onion
    butter
    herbal seasoning of your choice

Slice the peppers lengthwise into strips about 1/2-3/4 inch wide.
    Chop the onion.
Throw everything together in a skillet with the butter and saute.
    Serve over rice.
    Wait an hour.
    ENJOY!

tip: It's best to use real butter because herbal seasonings are fat soluble. You want the butter to carry the goodies. Use of a vegetable-oil-based margarine won't work as well. If you're cooking this with friends, take turns standing over the skillet stirring the veggies and seasonings. You don't want one person to have all the fun, as the vapors can be quite intense.

Ps I have more backflashes than the main street of Vagas on a rainy night . I guess acid was my thing .
