How to tell when licence is due for renewal?

Hi,

Stupid question (actually lots of them) Have been running 2.7 for a year or so but not sure how long really with 2yr licence. Is there anywhere that tells you when the licence date is due, believe me I have looked and it's probably staring me in the face but...........

Also have been patiently waiting for the ESS to be up and running which it is now. Is it worth renewing 2.7 now or waiting for my expiry when ever that is, or do I trial ESS first, but then that also means loosing Blackspears setup for it?

Does Blackspear or others have a comprehensive setup tutorial for ESS the same as 2.7?

What anti virus version does ESS run 2.7 or 3, and what is the diff between 2.7 and 3?

See told you I have lots of silly questions............

you can use the lost password feature on the Eset website - then your license email will be resent to the email on file - that's contains your expiration date.

Well still no reply from Eset. Should I have sent it to Eset/Australia instead?

The feature for resending license information works mainly for those who have purchased the program in the USA. Please contact your local distributor.

 

Thanks Marcos I shall give that a go.

I suppose if I were to upgrade to ESS that my existing licence would be carried over and added to the new licence and therefore I would not loose out either way?

Try this, assuming you are using v2.7, as am I...........
Right click on your nod32 systray icom, should bring up the Control Center.
Click the "nod32 system tools" arrow at the bottom of the window.
Then click the "nod32 system setup" arrow. The setup window opens.
Click the "setup" button. Click the "License Keys" tab.
You should see something like:
Product/ (what you are running)
Owner/ (who paid for it)
Volume/ (how many seats the license covers)
Expiry/**This License's expiration date**

Click Cancel when finished......Works here. Try it. Hope this helps.

I'm running 2.7 and have followed the instructions and the "License Key" Tab is.... empty.

I do have a real license.... honest!

I was really afraid of this.............
Perhaps I am able to view my license because I use the enterprise edition of nod32; and, I am seeing license info from my server. I just do not know at this point. I am still learning this A/V system. I will endeavor to go try this out at my Sister's machine. She is using the "plain vanilla" nod32 A/V, v2.7. I will report back in due time. Sorry for the confusion....

OK. I do not know how nod32 works. What I shared was what I saw here with my machines. I tested the share with my Sister, and she confirmed your result. She got a blank response also. Bummer. I thought I had a good answer.
I now defer to Marcos (above) and the other nod32 gurus. In the end I have to believe that ESET does know what is what.

 

Don't worry Webby. I also have a valid license and when I take a look at the 'License Key' Tab everything is empty as well.
I'm not sure why this is, but I wouldn't worry too much. I'm guessing you received an email with all license details when you bought your copy of NOD?

The expiry date should be in there somewhere. If not, just add a year (or 2, depending on your license) to the date of purchase.
