FlashGet 1.73 build 128. I've been using this version since it came out, and I have no intention to upgrade. I use this particular version because it was the last problem-free version (when compared to the others) for me.

Never trusted Orbit and lacks features that FDM has. Also when you go the Orbit website McAfee Site Advisor shows it in red as a known spyware site.

I use it also,i think is the most complete product in this category, there is no need to change it.Some freebies are good but IDM is above them.
Orbit's site is perfectly safe, and they offer 2 good applications for free,i appreciate them for that. There are links to bad (from mcafee point of view )sites and that is why mcafee shows it.

I use internet download manager. I like the way it integrates into browsers, been using it for a couple years or so. haven't found the need to switch to anything else.

    flashget was a favorite.

Every downlaod manager integrates into a browser. FDM has a nice little pop up window that is transparent to show your download rates.

My favorite is DownThemAll! a Fx extension. When the new Fx 3 comes out I will most likely drop DownThenAll because the only reason I use it is for the resume feature, Fx 3's built in DL manager will have resume capability.
