3.0 or 2.7 - Which is the Best For XP Pro

Which version is the best for XP Pro and can I upgrade to 3.0 from 2.7 when I am ready?

 

Theoretically, 3.0 should be better as it's claimed it has faster scan speeds, scan more objects and have an improved cleaning ability.

However, 3.0 isn't fine tuned as well as 2.7 is, and a lot of people think 2.7 is the best version at the moment.

 

I m running v3.0 on XP Pro and it's great.I never had any kind of problems with this version.You should try both v2.7 and v3.0 and then decide.Good Luck

I'm using 3.0 on one XP Pro system and two Vista Ultimate systems. I really like it.

 

v3.0 is really better than v2.7 and most of all it is faster than v2.7 !!!
You can upgrade from 2.7 to 3.0 but I would advice to completely uninstall v2.7, reboot, delete all files and folders related to ESET (maybe and probably that will already done with uninstall wizard)... Then install v3.0 with typical options...

I am on XP home SP2, v3 is suppose to be better but.... my old pentium 3 733 dont like it, "ekrn.exe" goes too often to 99% grrrrrrrrr

I tried french v3.0.642 and downgrade to v2.7 again, works very well and no bugs

 

well i have nod32 2.7 too
i use only amon
what give me nod32 3 ?

 

other modules (IMON, DMON, EMON) are important too for a complete protection, why you only use amon ?
