The final upgrade has been released. Paid versions with maintenance agreements will get it automatically as an update. :D

I guess they could have put out a buggy beta as a final, which seems to be prevalent to some extent generally, but they had the honesty to carry on:thumb:

    Hi ThunderZ,

Download.com take about 24h to publish, but I just recieved a mail from them saying "In Progress" so in an hour or so, it should be good.

I will post an update the moment I notice a change.

For paid users, here's a post I just made at the OA Forums:

    Important Notice regarding 85 upgrade:

We've had a couple of users complain to us that the reboot takes too long after update.

As a result, we've removed the build from the update servers for the moment. We're working on a modified update procedure to avoid this.

No action needs to be taken - as soon as it's ready, the revised build process will happen automatically.

If you have already received the upgrade
    - Great - please let us know about it :)

If you have NOT already received the upgrade
    - just hold on for a little while. We'd like to get this out with minimal disruption to our userbase.

Release Build 85 of the paid version is available for those that absolutely want to have it *now* from the downloads page - or hang on for up to 12-15h until we resolve the update procedure.

Thanks for the extremely prompt reply. Had a feeling it was something like that. No problem, a good product is worth the wait. :thumb:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the newest FINAL version. Right?

    Same question as usual:

    Is the WOW-stuttering fixed? ^^

    Greetings

    Hi Timo,

We fixed some obscure bug in firewall driver - the only thing I can say is that I h-h-hope so. One guy was going to try it for me, but his subscription ran out.

When will there be a Vista 32/64 of OA, Mike? XP is out of work in a few years... no more updates from Microsoft for that system.

We have internal Vista 32 builds running now. About 75% of features are running. Once we make sure all is ok with this build, we can focus on Vista a bit more.

Our target is to hit beta in the next couple of weeks, if we're lucky.

Mike, congrats for the final release.

Just a question, since i wouldn't want to uninstall/install firewalls in vain right now. Is that explorer.exe restarting issue fixed? Because in .81 i still had it.

    Thanks.

Edit: forgot me manners... Thanks Fuzzfas :)

    Me too :)

But in 85 I do not. By all means wait a day or so, and see if anyone else reports it, but I think it's solid.

Thanks Mike! I asked because in the OA forum i didn't notice anyone else reporting it, so i thought i was the unlucky guy having a rare bug.

I will wait some hours and then try it. I can hardly wait. :D

That's nice, but I am on 64bits Vista. And that's not on your horizon when I read you right. Pity. I was a OA user from the start..
