STOPzilla Antispyware

    It's absolutely the worst.
    Poor or no detection, nags you to buy the software when you try to uninstall, and the awards listed on their site are fake.
    On top of all that, it's very resource intensive while it has no purpose.

    I was never a godzilla fan, so I never trusted anything that carried a similar name. :D

    According to them it is not the absolute worst, but close to it.

    i used to use it many many years ago.

    i actually used to like it, but it was quite heavy on my machine back then.

    i havnt tried any of the versions since, so maybe its quite light.

    i see it now has antispyware and rootkit detections, but i have absolutely no clue for its detection.

    Looks like it is about half way through the pack in performance, not really so good.

    according to PC magazine=== STOPzilla 5.0
    When you hear the name STOPzilla, you'd expect a 50-foot tall spyware-destroying behemoth. What you get is an app that costs more than the best standalone antispyware programs yet does less.
