Is anyone running this combo (with AVG AS realtime protection ENABLED) and does it cause any problems?

Only using it with the Free version of AVG so no realtime. The on demand scanner works okay with NOD though. Both scanning together is also no problem.

Not the exact answer but it all I've got!

    Thanks Gren!
Perhaps someone who does have AVG AS running in realtime can elaborate?

Hi, there shouldn't be any problems. But there will be sure slower perfomance, so I don't recommend it.

OK, thanks. What AS would you recommend to run alongside NOD in real-time?

I running nod32 2.7 with realtime enabled next to AVG AS Pro with realtime enabled on Win XP SP2. (PC: P4, 3 GHz, 1 GB RAM)

The combination has been running smoothly on my system for over a year now, not causing any problems at all. I do not notice any lagging in file operations, so I can definitely recommend nod32 + AVG.

    Regards,
    El Capitan

That is why you are running without problem . I have also noticed that on slower computers , AVG AS and NOD32/EAV both running will cause a bit slow down.

I personally - nothing in real-time . You might want just for on-demand
