    Change:

ProSecurity free instead of SSM free
    No more safespace
    No more google pack

Sometimes a boot scan with Avast free.

By the way, Sygate has a great termination protection passed the sss110 test :thumb:

I finally think i found my almost perfect antivirus-free combo:
    Resident:
    -Router
-Ashampoo free firewall --->changed to Kerio 2
    -Sandboxie 3.21
-SSM Free.--> changed to Threatfire set at 4.
    -RegProt.

    On demand:
    -AVG Free.
    -Clam Win.
    -Dr. Web Cure it.
(all of the above antivirus can run without background processes active).
    -Ice Sword.

Probably sooner or later i 'll change firewall to Ashampoo or OA free when comes stable, but the current setup is the most hassle free and light i have found till today.

How did you get your hands on a copy of Symantec Endpoint Protection to play with? Can I get it as a non-corporate buyer?

My XP setup updated: Added a Realtime AV to backup OA AV+ which incorporates an execution only AV scanner. Don't get me wrong, OA AV+ KAV engine is great, but having that and Nod32 is even better. I added Nod32 again and not a second HIPS like I used to.

How many times I reply to this ressurected thread?

Still no AV/AS after a couple of years.

Sandboxie is still my mainstay here with Returnil thrown in proving near on, if not, infallible.

After many trials and errors I would say that Sandboxie and Returnil are the two finest "free" security apps ever.

For any paid apps, certainly Defensewall is one of the best of the best!

Run all three together and your pc might be too frightened to start.:D
