Regarding the link in the previous post- any idea how to uninstall it?

Never mind- it has to be taken out in Safe Mode; and there's NO reason to leave it on.

    Hello,
for uninstalling, go to the folder the program is installed in and run the file "unins000.exe".

    Kind regards,

Thank you Peter for your response. I initially tried to remove the program via unins000.exe, but got an "access denied" dialog box; in order for me to remove the program I had to boot in Safe Mode and then run the uninstaller. I was kind of surprised that this would be the case.

I also assumed that a program that purports to be on demand would load itself by default at computer startup.

    Thanks again,

    Megan

The self=protection mode is the culprit. you need to turn that off, before the uninstaller works.

Threw me off for a while at first too.

Thanks guys for the steps needed to uninstall smoothly (i hope)

I take great suspicions on releases like these and generally avoid them altogether.

If it's assured safe then thats all well and fine, but if it's going to cause a user to lose time just to uninstall it, then it's not of so much use.

GOOD GRIEF! Is this a gamble list or what? Which one do you take your chances on?

So are there any issues with AVPTool over chkdsk and iSwift, or any other quirks it might present also?

    THANKS

    this forum is biased!
    does this tool require installation?

does this tool use the dreaded ObjectID's?
