I seriously could use some help

there's some malware in my comp. every 15 minutes or so, my machine slows down to a crawl, literally, and after a few minutes it goes back to normal popping up fake error messages. If I click ok it'll try to download some garbage. I've scanned with AVG anti spyware and I can't find anything, there's nothing in the task manager either. I ran rogue remover and it found two files but they had nothing to do with this malware since it was unaffected by it. some screens.





there's a 2rd error message i haven't had a chance to screenshot, it also has some grammatical errors, further proof it's fake.

i'd really appreciate it if you could tell me how to get rid of this.

I disabled the visual things I don't need like the articled said, now I'm waiting to see if my computer will start slowing down again, which like i said happens every 15 minutes.

I thought It was malware, since one of the errors had grammatical problems, so I ran SpyBot SD and it found a large list of garbage, about 4 or 5 couldn't be touched because the program couldn't 'write' them, and I'll try again soon, but for now the annoying pop up in the 2nd screenshot has vanished. thanks a lot.

 

you say you ran AVG antispyware ... did you download and run the full AVG that is antivirus and free-trial? I use this to clean stuff off my setup whenever I've caught something nasty. download, install, update, run the full scan, get rid of stuff, then reboot, re-run the whole thing, make sure everything is gone (sometimes this takes a few times) and then on clean reboot uninstall the whole mess. sounds to me like you have virus not spyware problem. those screenshots are kinda familiar
also, if you can get into safe mode and defrag then run the anti- stuff it helps it get all the way through sometimes when that is an issue. lately I've had good luck with microsoft's one live care scanner. free online scanner checks the registry, anti spy, anti virus and defrags. takes forever but if you've still got internet it has cleaned lots of stuff for me. guess it sounds like I've got lots of problems, but I have small time computer repair business so your question happens to be one I'm pretty familiar with ... lol.

annmartinson you were 100% correct. i missed completely the AVG anti virus. inmediately after being opened it catched a garbage proccess, got rid of it at the cost of a reboot (windows went crazy when the file was fixed) after reboot the scan continued and it got the rest of them some of them in files i installed DAYS ago! also forgot to mention, after the reboot, before the desktop got started, spybot SD popped up and finished the work.

so my computer is now healed. thanks a lot to everyone.

 

Have you considered using BOClean, and Returnil?

 

I hope you took some measurements to keep your system more clean, otherwise you didn't learn anything from this incident.
