Computer Scan Stops at 60%

I'm not understanding whats going on. I attempted to perform a computer and a custom scan and neither would scan beyond 60%. I've downloaded the lastest version and uninstall the previous version before installing the lastest version. I also deleted the ESET folder before installing. Everything seems to be working except for not being able to scan. Can anyone help with this one. Thank you in advance. I'm using the ESET Smart Security v3.0.621.0. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit.

 

Perhaps if you go into Setup> On-demand computer scan > select a profile then ThreatSense engine parameter setup > Other then select Log all objects . When you then run "custom scan" for that profile you can then watch as it is scanning the files and when it gets to 60% you can see which file it is working on at that point.

I don't see the threatsense engine parameter setup/OTHER. I have only: Objects, Options, Cleaning, and Extensions, none have an "other" option within them too. i have ESS 3.0.560.0 signature 2785. How else can I try to diagnose this same problem if I cant get into that option?
