    Thanks,
But it cannot be some completely isolated issue. As I said, I tried it in 2 countries 7000km apart (different ISP's!) and am getting the same result.

Of course, I was not trying to blame Eset for holding back the new version, more like suggesting that something could be done to avoid issues like this (even if it is ISP's fault).
Would not simple unique filename for each version (like, eav_nt32_enu_3.0.621.msi) easily resolve such issues, instead of trying to flush ISP's cache (which I don't know how to do)?

Just tried 5 min. ago, it is still 3.0.566 !

Has anyone found 3.0.621 AV in the trial version. I have downloaded it numerous times and it is still the older version as far as I can tell. Thanks, Kent

That is the site I have been trying. It lists .621 but I tried it and it is .566.

I was disappointed again with this new version. Was hoping that they fixed the internet connection issue, but they did not. This version is completely unusable to me because I lose internet connection instantly after installing it over Vista 32bit. Disappointed.

Just to clarify, I was assuming that you meant the purchased software version, not the trial. Was that the case? I believe as others have noted that the trial may not have been updated yet. But, there are very few reports that the paid version links are still pointing at build 566.

Yes, absolutely. In fact, I've been pushing for people to do that for quite a while. Files that I have mirrored myself, where the provider didn't want to change the name, I've had reports of people getting the old version even though my servers definitely were updated. I think all vendors should put the version number in the name which would prevent caching issues.

New update database incredible    fainted

What walks the Eset to do with the archives that we subject and even that we include the email we are not warned that the same thing was added.

Will there be some problem of management?

Was it sent for Eset? Or was it revised by the Eset?

This new version seemed to resolve my issues with getting random connection reset errors or images not loading in web traffic which is a nice perk.

But how come we need to do manual updates for this instead of letting the autoupdater take care of it? Is there a few days lag before Eset releases a new version through the autoupdate client to make sure no nasty bugs surface or what?

Yep, I just downloaded it the other day and all is going well so far.

This may be a stupid question but was version 2.7 also geared toward spyware?

I was talking about trial version. I have assumed that New version 3.0.621 available would mean trial version will be updated too, especially after I have seen the link pointing at new version.
But now, it is quite clear that 621 was never there as trial version. New updated download page now shows 3.0.566.

Of course, that is not a big deal - Eset is free to offer whatever they like as trial version. It just seems odd that one willing to try new version must go through all that confusion, moderators and admins here (not affiliated) have to waste time trying sort out this mess, but Eset says nothing, where one word would solve everything easily.

Finally, i think that advertising New version 3.0.621 available, then forcing one through personal information collection procedure only to find out it is old version 3.0.566, is not very polite.

    P.S. Finally link is updated.
    Thanks.

My IE still operates slowly thats why I went back to v2.7 as IE worked like lightening.
Any plans of sorting out v3 as to get a speedier IE like in v2.7?

Everyone loves 2.7. :) Its a pity Eset didnt build on the greatness of it rather than come out with a completely different app, an app which is not ever going to be as popular as its predecessor. It would help if version 3 actually worked ok but alas is still isnt performing well at all.Every day theres a new bug or new gripe, I have never seen such sad and forlorn comments from people about a product as i have for version 3 of this once great antivirus.Comments from people who adore NOD32, but turning their backs on it in despair. Its time to pull it in my opinion, hold up their hands, admit they goofed it and then come back with a classic that was properly tested, i dont care if it takes them 18 months either, i just want better and my moneys worth ;)

Long time user first time complainer.

I'm sorry to say too that I've now given up trying to get version 3 to work for me. I'm now testing other AV's to see how they stack up to nod 2.7. I'm sure ESET have learned a lot from the problems they've had with version 3 but I cant stick around and spend more frustrating time uninstalling versions and installing new updates. I feel like I'm still beta testing the product.

one off topic post removed and as a reminder that this is the Nod32 Support Forum. Suggestions concerning other AV's can be posted in our other anti-virus forum.

Well, I just switched from BitDefender to NOD32 and must say I'm one happy camper! I moved away from the Norton camp about a year ago to BitDefender. BitDefender was a good product but my boot was still agonizingly slow (whyo_O 7200 rpm HD,T7200 Core2,2GB RAM). Researched AV comparison (http://www.av-comparatives.org/ for one) and also found multiple analysis that NOD32 boots faster (in addition to superior protection). It's true. Great protection and boot times that I expect! Keep up the good work.
