HD space does not recover after Secure Zone was removed

HD space does not recover after Secure Zone was removed. I have TI9. Is there anything that I can do about it?

What method did you use to remove the Secure Zone?

The Secure Zone is normally created by TI and should be removed using the TI un-install optoion from within TI. Upon removal by TI, user is asked where to assign the free space.

Use Disk Management and see if you have any un-allocated space?

It's been long time since I removed Secure Zone. Only now I started running of space. I believe that I used TI for the removal.

What Windows' tools can I use to check for un-allocated space?

You are right. There is an un-allocated chunk there. How can I attach it to the drive C:?

Use the Manage Acronis Secure Zone Wizard to create a temporary Secure Zone in the unallocated space on your drive.

Once the SZ has been created, use the Manage Acronis Secure Zone Wizard once more to remove the SZ and opt to assign the space it used to the main partition.

Reboot your system and you should now find you have eliminated the unallocated space.

 

When you do this, be sure to not accept the default to activate the Startup Recovery Manager. Remember it defaults to making the SRM so you have to manually uncheck it.
