Sorry for the ackward wording. Im just asking what parts of a "Office" suite you use. Also mentioning the programs you use is optional. I mostly use word processing and spreadsheets coutesy of OpenOffice's Writer and Calc.
Presentations Spreadsheets Word Processing My Office 2007 has Word , Excel , PowerPoint and Outlook but I use only Word and Excel most often , Power Point - from time to time . Outlook - never (it is not even installed) . I find it a bit heavy.
Tons of daily Word Processing, Spreadsheets about twice a week, and Presentations about once every other week. Databases every day as well. Office 2007 Ultimate at work and home. Navision for work database.
Hello, At work I use Office 2003, at home OpenOffice. Quite a lot of different thingies, including scripts, macros, regular documents of all sorts. But I prefer Matlab for any sort of table, calculation than spreadsheets. Mrk
When VisiCalc and then Lotus 1-2-3 came along, it saved lots of time by reducing the number of small batch jobs that had to be done on a main frame. Old habits die hard - I still use spreadsheets for all sorts of personal calculations, from financial to hobbies. I expect I've used about every major spreadsheet program that was ever published, but these days, for home use, the one that comes with MS Works is enough for me.
Office 2007 installed here. Why? Beats me, I never use Excel or Powerpoint and I use Quark as my wordprocessor. It's an old (noob?) habit, I suppose. I always had Office installed, "if need be".
Office 2002: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Document Imaging as O.C.R. On a personal note I think MS Word is one the greatest software ever coded.
Word processing - Currently MS Word, but used Wordstar and Wang previously. Spreadsheets - Currently Excel, but used Lotus 1-2-3 previously.
I once bought microsoft office 2000.But now I am using Ashampoo office 2006 which was given free from a PC magazine,it is light and does all I want.
notepad - a lotta stuff i do writes out text either fixed or csv... paint - it's on every machine & great for documenting carp... paint shop pro v7 - yeah, old. but loads quick & has enough tools to produce useful illustrations excel - great for everything, i mentioned notepad, right? also hugely great for producing publications, you place images exactly where they go and they stay put. access / sql server - write 'em, hack 'em... whatever... lord, people make a living doing just that (not me! i'd go nuts!) outlook - because i have to. shared calendars, etc. sharepoint - did i mention that? o, did you know it's ms's replacement for front page? yeah! it's every bit as convoluted. people do that for a living too. hard to believe? yes? not ms word - avoid it like the plague. type a 40+ page document with multiple levels of indents and it looses its mind! i've done a few 100+ page docs, it follows, trust me on this.
SO8 here (disappointed they didn't offer upgrade incentive for SO7 users). AutoCAD Numerous Structural/Engrg softs.
OpenOffice 2.3, although I've never used anything but the word processor. I have Word 2002 but mostly use it only for the dubious value of its grammar check.
