I have transferred tape recordings of my Uncles service in WWll and some interviews with some of the old Folk in my Village to CD using Nero Wave Editor

The CDs play OK on my OS in WMP but make no sound at all on my CD player?.

I'm using CD-Rs, is there some kind person who can tell me what the problem might be please.

    Regards, Cochise,

did you leave the filetype as a .wav? as far as i know, cd-players can only play .cda files. in which case you will want to make an audio cd using the nero wizard.

if that is not the problem: have you tried playing on different players?

Thanks muchly for the input Pin,

All the recordings were made using good old Nero Wave Editor.

Where I made my mistake was to assume my Multi-disc CD (Make the Tea, answer the door etc.,) Player was OK which it wasn't, and so it was passing the disc over before having the chance to actually read it, in other words Recorded disc OK....Disc Player not OK. So consequently problem solved.

Aahhhhh! technology aye? Ya caint live with it and ya caint live without it. :D :D

Best Regards and Happy New Year,

    Cochise.
PS. have a New Years Cookie on me.
