Hmmm seems i can download NOD32 v3 but i want to download the ESS what's the go can we not download the Security Suite unless we buy a new license that is kinda lame...

Will be contacting NOD32 Australia and finding out what the go is..

This is what the email said so either they are lying or not fixed the problems with downloads...

At this time there is nothing more that can be told except that they are waiting for the final steps to be put in place so that they can process the upgrade requests.

Note: The upgrade is not automatic and requires generation of a new licence for ESS and this will only be done for those that have requested.

    Cheers :)

Sorry if here is not the right thread, but I have a question.
Do you have any idea how can I permanently disable the network traffic filtering? :)

Thats not Entirely correct :cautious: I myself have a licence for NOD32 Antivirus, purchased in Australia, and I can install ESET Smart Security with my existing licence which is still valid till late Aug 08 :shifty:

Is there anywhere cheaper to buy this, other than on the ESET website? Any OEM versions available?

I did enough homework before buying ESS. Good review comments for NOD32 and its comparative analysis made me believe that ESS should also be respectably fast (if not equally ;) ). My belief was shattered when I triggered ESS on my system (after spending long-long-long installation time) . My system does not move after ESS is set to real-time watch mode  . I had to painfully waste my time to shut the real-time stuff off :thumbd: . In non-real time mode ESS is simply great :thumb: . Ironically, I avoided buying the most competent securtiy stuff in the market due to the same 'slow-down' reasons :D . I ended-up buying another one :p Hope ESET has some plans for a better future of their customers :cautious:

I hope that too, because my license is getting smaller in days, day after day. With another suite on my system because ESS is not good and slow.

You said it yourself: "on my system". There are plenty systems were ESS is running without any problems, mine included.
Did you try to solve your problem first on 'your system'? Did you uninstall all other security software (uninstall, not just disable!) before installing ESS?

If you want Eset to solve the problem with 'your system' you need to provide Eset with more information then you did in your post. Only then they can work on you future...

I think this will be a winner when the bugs gets worked out of this.I would give this a run but I'll wait till my KIS expires. All it takes is patience because i've dealt with buggy software before.Hang in there!!!:thumb:

The Eset Smart Security newest version i think 3. 0 566. is not the best
yest. It catches to less trojans. Try therefore Bitdefender or Kaspersky
or some other AV. and it will find many trojans.

So it is as leak it is not safe. Eset has to do something about it.
I switched to Bitdefender Total Security till Eset fixes this, if they can..

Seems they have problems at ESet.

    Let me know any improvements.

    Thanks,

    Really??

Because I've been trying all bloody day now to get this upgrade to work and it doesn't! It wont accept my username and password that I got for my EAV (valid till May 2009). So Im still not able to download ESS with my user details for EAV.

What the heck is going on? It's almost the end of December, the time that this Aussie deal is going to end :(

    Please help!!! :'(
