    Greetings,

A UK edition of a computer magazine includes a full version of Systweak's Advanced System Optimizer 2.0 on its cover disc.

Does anyone have experience with this program?

    Thanks, and best wishes,

I have used it for years and have found it suits my purpose. There are, of course, many more out there all claiming to be the best.

I don't like suites. Because suites can't include the best apps for ANY maintenance task. For maintenance of your computer I would get a collection of the best standalone programs for each purpose. For example, ''PerfectDisk'' is the best Hard Drive Defragmenter. Defraggers included in those suites are far from the quality of PD. The registry repair utilitie(s) included in suites is/are mostly not comprehensive enough. For Registry repair I would use ''Registry Drill'' by easydesksoftware.

For what it's worth : TuneXP v1.5 seems to be malware-free according VirusTotal and Jotti.

    Hi,

PRSC has intercepted it as an adware/spyware. F.P. perhaps. But by a behavior blocker ? o_O Oh, a bit of OT.

It's never OT, when a NEW object is a possible threat. I see any new object as a possible threat to my system and data partition.
The problem is : how do you know for sure that a new object is safe to use ?
VirusTotal and Jotti, don't report anything, while your behavior blocker detected TuneXP as adware/spyware, which is very possible for a FREEWARE.
Which one do we have to believe ? I don't like guessing, I like to know it for sure. :)

Seems more aggressive than Tune Up utilities, for example, but as it can perform backups prior to removals-you cant go wrong.

Looks a comprehensive, efficient app. Lucky you!

Its with almost any ALL IN ONE optimisers, all is done behind the curtains, they never explain what is chanced, luckily its possible to create a backup with most of them.Where TUNEXP really shines is the helpfile, explain what can to be done or better what to leave alone, and some prediction on performance.
For me it really works and am glad to find it ! :)
