I hear you, but I really don't have any other issues, and it's nice to have something to complain about. :p

The standard for month abbreviation is 2 digits. The abbreviation for March is MR and May is MY. I like this format but not everyone knows the correct abbreviations which can cause problems.

Was gone for me for awhile.....about 2 weeks and now its back tonight. Expires 11-16-08. I think the servers were doing stuff since there is alot of warez cracks out there for NOD32 and KAV.

Well, I can sympathize with all the people who are having problems with V3, but instead of constantly whining, there are at least two other alternatives. Go back to 2.7 until V 3 meets your qualifications or try another av.
My posts about the date expiration thingy, were meant to be lighthearted and good natured at least. :)

A simple fix for the in and out exp. date would be to write "My Eset exp. date is mm/dd/yy" on a piece of paper and put it with your other computer stuff. Then when you think it might be expiring soon, go check your piece of paper.:D

Be rest assured this is genuine rejoicing - my V3 trial should've ended tonight, and I'm celebrating the extension of my evaluation period.

:thumb: Thank you, Eset - this one is on you, cheers. :)

Maybe that tunnelling thing is actually a wormhole to another space-time reality, does it matter? or anti-matter? wait, backup a minute, ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

What are they working on again? At least I'm reassured to know that if I lose my identity they will have it safely stored for me....

I had that problem once. A reboot corrected it.

PS No expiration date showing here. It's come and gone several times.

Try your reboot, this time the problem is forever - it's goodbye to everyone's Christmas gift. :'(

Hiker, you're probably right about the expiration date - actually, I was not referring to that at all. I meant despite the license showing validity upto 31st December 2007, the program was displaying the User name and Password as invalid and consequently not updating the Virus Signatures. :D
