    Downloads of update files fails.

For at least the last two days, both of my computers display the status as "Error downloading update file".

    What is the remedy?

At the top of www.ghostsecurity.com there is a notice—
Notice: This domain name expired on 11/23/07 and is pending renewal or deletion.

    What's going on?

This development combined with someone else's complaint about the lack of technical support is worrisome.

Request for tech support at www.ghostsecurity.com was rejected.

Instead of a reply to my request, I received this:

    Recipient: <support@ghostsecurity.com>
Reason: sorry, relaying denied from your location [68.230.241.45] (#5.7.1)

I sure wish I'd seen this post earlier, because I just finished uninstalling/re-installing RD and find I cannot update the product to reinstate it.

    What's going on here?

It's all working now, that's a relief, I was worried for a moment.

It's a pity the installer for the standalone version of RD does not contain the whole updated program, thus avoiding the need to update after a re-install, else this problem could recur in the future.

As Shakespeare stated, "All's well that ends well".

I'm relieved too; Jason's programs are gems.
