    Hi,

Thank you for a great product.

Does AVG 7.5.1.43 detect and remove rootkits?

    Thank you.

To bad AVG Anti-Rootkit doesn't support Vista. Why doesn't it? Grisoft have had alot of time to fix that.

From certain press releases I assume that AVG Anti-Rootkit is a smaller part of a greater and more enhanced module that will be introduced with the AVG 8.0 line of products.....Maybe thats why. :doubt:

Yes, maybe you are right. I hope Girsoft's version 8.0 products will be realesed soon. Couple of months maybe?

Last I heard it was supposed to be Fall 2007. Dunno now, but I suppose a few months delay may happen :)

AVG free anti rootkit works fine on Vista Home Premium. I have found that I have to run it as administrator, but it works fine.
