Spybot is slow to boot up

    Home on the range.
    :mad: Spybot is slow to boot up, takes anywhere from a minute to a minute and a half. I am using the latest version on Windows XP and a Pavalion a1006n computer.

    There was a beta patch released regarding the slow loading issue. See the below thread at the Spybot forums. The users in this thread were referring to operating systems other than XP. Also a different issue. You should find the patch helpful. I did .. as well as others. See Post #7 for the instructions and Post #2 for zip.
