Update problems

    Strange update problems going on with NOD the last two days, starting with the latest update 1.580. NOD successfully connects to nod32.com and retrieves the update info, telling me that an update is available...but then the following download does not work, but ends with a "server connection failure".

    Any explanation?

    What version of NOD are you running? If you're at 2.000.6 or above, you can select "Choose automatically" in the server field to let it look more extensively for an available server. Have you tried that?

    Thanks for your replay...and yes, of course I have tried different servers...

    The issue is fixed now...as nobody replied it was clear that it was an issue on my system...small misconfiguration.

    Hi,
    probably you use a firewall and the NOD32krn service didn't have access to the Internet permitted. We have increased the number of update servers in order to minimize the chance that the server connection error occurs due to a server overload.
