Hi, Frederic, If I remove iexplorer.exe from application list of LnS and start it to open an URL, a popup will jump out and I select 'just this time' and allow it. However, there will be several (~5-7) popups asking my verdict of iexplorer. So, my question: Why are there so many occurences of popups when I select 'just this time'? (i.e., what's the definition of 'this time' of LnS?) Does LnS prompt every process of the tcp hand-shaking? thanks in advance.
Hi nuser, Look 'n' Stop checks for the authorization each time the application creates a socket. If you select "Just this time", you will get the prompt each time a socket is created. Regards, Frederic
thanks a lot, Frederic, May I am wrong: to my very limited knowledge of socket, there are only 2 'socket creating' events when browsing a website (for DNS and the webserver). Why does LnS prompt 5 times when I open google.com with iexplorer.exe? I am sorry to insist, since this is somehow out of the topic of LnS firewall.
