    Hello everybody,

    has anybody had this?
    Is there any remedy?
I have tried: acpi=off noapic failsafe etc. - no luck!

BTW: I have no problems at all with TI 10 Home Boot-CD on the Thinkpad R30!!

    Hello MSprecher,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup software

As we currently understand, you have an issue with Acronis Bootable Rescue CD.

Could you please create Acronis Report and Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post and then submit a request for technical support with the attached reports and the link to this thread. We will do our best to help you as soon as possible.

    Thank you

No, I am not going to do the Beta-Testing for you!

The notebook is an ordinary IBM Thinkpad R30 with latest BIOS and Default firmware settings.

With the bootable Rescue Media of TI 10 it works perfectly.
With the bootable Rescue Media of TI 11 it does not, hanging with the above error message.

For sure there has been changed something at the Linux-Version.

It is up to you to test and try before you sell the new version.

I am fed up with your freqent requests for extensive testing and collecting data of a standard system.

    Hello MSprecher,

We are really sorry for the inconvenence, but we are unable to identify the cause of the issue without the information requested in previous post. Please provide us with the requested Linux sysinfo report as requested if you'd like us to investigate this issue.

In any case, we are always at your service should you have any further questions.

    Thank you

    Just to let everybody know:
The problem described above with an IBM Thinkpad R30 is also present with TI 11 Home Build 8053 recovery CD.
As a workaround the BART PE CD including TI 11 Home Build 8053 works o.k.

I am quite sure that the Linux-version used for TI 11 is not compatible with IBM Thinkpad R30.

Is there anybody who could confirm this?
