Just tried Blink Personal

    ... And I'm not too happy.
    After right-clicking a file on the desktop, it said a malicious action was blocked. Then it deleted all files in the 'All Programs' menu, My Documents, & my Desktop.

    I'm sure this is a bug, but I uninstalled...

    Wow, thats nasty. I've installed blink personal on a number of systems and have never seen that thankfully. Hopefully you had a backup image. I think i may have been the one to suggest blink, definitely a bad suggestion.

    When Iwas running XP I had Blink installed several times and never experienced any problems. Sounds as if you had a wierd experience.

    I've also been using Blink Personal for quite awhile and never had a single issue with it; definately nothing like you describe. Sorry to hear of your experience.

    After rebooting, to my surprise, all the files were back. :blink:
    Don't know why it ever happened... but I'm fine with my security setup, though I might try it again if they're still offering it for free sometime.
