I have use Azureus, Bitcomet & UTorrent, alternately. But i do seem to prefer Azureus (for its stability, setup-ease & plugins availability) personally. Test it btw, afterall, you will be the end-user thou.
utorrent 1.7.5 Tried Azureus before and didn't like it. utorrent seems to be the lightest and best torrent client for my system.
I use rtorrent. It is very light and works very well. I generally just use torrents from the people whose product I want to download to try and ease some of the pressure off their servers. For example, if I want to try the latest linux or BSD release, I will get their torrent and use it to not only download the product, but help others get it as well. Cheers, Alphalutra1
i don't use torrents much because of all the connections they make - 1000s all at the same time i'd mainly use them for videos if i did use it. i just find direct downloads for them instead. i'm watching about 2 films a day atm lol i just saw the last king of scotland and i've got 21 grams already downloaded having said that i use Azureus with some of the cool plugins it has and i've got a few gigs of videos in my 'Azureus Downloads'
it's not Yellow text and yellow graphics!! it's yellow text on top of more yellow text that's the whole point, it shows all the connections torrents use! here's how it looks with fewer connections - http://etherape.sourceforge.net/images/
