Kill SNAPAPI logs...?

Howdy,

As part of some diagnostic effort (Don't ask...) I had to generate SNAPAPI logs.

That was all fine...

But, I just discovered tons of 'em in my I386 folder.

How do I stop the endless process of generating these logs?

Had you installed updated snapapi drivers with the "debug" or "log" option?

If so, then it will probably keep creating log files until the drivers are installed without "debug/log" mode.

No doubt you have it right, but...

When my friends in Moscow asked me to install a new snapapi driver, I just did as they requested.

Unfortunately, they did not tell me how to "turn it off."

Might you know how I should proceed?

When you install the snapapi drivers you should see a screen like this:


I assume that if you select "Disable logging" then it won't create the log files. Acronis support usually recommends enabling logging so users can submit the logs in their support requests. After that, though, they are not needed.

I would try reinstalling and just select the "Disable logging" option and see if that stops them.
