    Re: Do I need more protection with Firefox?

    Cheater, i see that you use WSG for firefox, is this similar to(or better than)
    the mcafee site advisor? lighter on resources?

    Hi cheater87, I'm sure it would work fine and would probably enable you to trim down on your anti-malware protections. I used to use Avast free and Prevx (for 28 days) within Sandboxie as my only real time protection. They all worked fine together. I was also using Firefox with no-script and ABP.

    IMO, if your running ST, Prevx, BOClean and Avast real time, you can easily cut it down to 1 AV and 1 AS when running Sandboxie. If your AV and AS would happen to miss something when online, then Sandboxie should contain it. After you empty the sandbox, all contents should be gone.

    Once you setup your Sandboxie icons, it's easy to use. If you keep your important documents and private stuff in My Documents, then you can add this line to the Sandboxie config so that the Sandboxed program cannot access it.

    ClosedFilePath=%Personal%

    I'm not sure what you use your computer for, but for containing online activities, a sandbox program seems like a hot idea for the time being.

    Yes, and not only that, with Sandboxie in place you can get rid of Comodo Boclean, Prevx 2, Spyware Terminator 2.0 real time shield enabled no HIPS, A Squared free and Superantispyware free edition! :D

    Keep the common sense, though. :thumb:
