    Hi,
I use a dual boot - Xp and Ubuntu.. and I use NOD32 with full updates..one day i got ma frnd's pen drive.. it had two files.. " autorun.inf" and "Microsoft Powerpoint.exe" in it..
As they were suspicious, I did a full scan with Nod32... but result was that no viruses were to found... then i searched in net... what i found was this...http://www.zooltechnology.com/content/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=300&Itemid=76

So.. NOD 32 wasnt able to detect such a virus.. WHYo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O?

I deleted the virus by booting into Ubuntu and then deleting the two files....

    Hi,

please send your infected files to samples (at) eset.com

Pack them into RAR archive with password "infected" and send it.

    Thanks :thumb:

No AV can give 100% detection of virusus. Worth pointing this out.
