Can True Image Home boot from USB CD-ROM?

    OK, it don't boot from SATA DVD-RW, _BUT_ I have an old POS CD-RW that I rescued from my garage sale pile - If I fit this thing into a USB enclosure will it BOOT? Lend me your wisdom boys and (one) girl? ;)

    Whether it will or not will depend upon your bios. Maybe yes--maybe no. Perhaps a better alternatiave would be to:
    1. Make a flash drive Acronis bootable; or
    2. Make a usb disk drive Acronis bootable.

    I have successfully booted many CDs/DVDs from my USB DVD drive. That includes Acronis, BartPE, Knoppix, Linux, etc.

    If the computer supports booting from USB CD/DVD drives, then hopefully you shouldn't have a problem with it. Just make sure it's first in the BIOS boot order.

    Sweet!! I'm going to give it a go - I'm tossed right now due to this issue; I might have to give more money to Symantec if this doesn't work....
