I installed NOD32 and got rid of Norton on the family computer.

    The computer is sooo much faster when starting up.

    You will find that web pages load much faster in some cases. Norton is indeed better in terms of resource usage and faster startup than prior versions, but nothing compared to NOD32. In addition, malware detection ratings (AV-Comparatives) show clearly that NOD32 is a superior product. I have tested them all on my computers, and NOD32 is the best overall.

    You must be referring to the retrospective tests exclusively.

    I'm glad you are happy with your NOD32, however, we really don't find "feel good" threads all that valuable around here. Aside from that, the way this one is worded is quickly heading towards a "this versus that" type anti-virus debate, which is also not a terribly helpful topic.
