I know many were burned towards the end.
I was one of the lucky ones, i got what i
paid for and excellent service and support
    as well.

I don't plan on buying anything from DCS,
not for a while anyway. But i will wait for Wayne
to explain ( if he is stll there ).

well i still hope DiamonCS / Wayne not gave up
(IRL sometimes may be very hard and s... happens)

the key point is if he can (and got balls) to state that on website
then offer some 'real' bonus to any of previous customers
(e.g. one additional license or licenses of upcoming products)
he was able do this with TDS-3 to PG transit and everyone was happy

and also Wayne please start to update Process Guard :)
e.g. 'controversial' Matousec SSDhooking vulnerability http://www.matousec.com/info/advisories/plague-in-security-software-drivers.php
and just don't stop on fixing bugs but match PG with other products as PG is not leader anymore

atm i find the website better than old one so it's
also i hope Wilders forum section gets reopened soon :)

People! Wayne has left the building and neither he nor the software will ever return. How many clues do you need?? Hope is nice, but this hope will surely lead to nothing.

I discovered the new DCS site some days ago, I tried to login to my customer area, then I thought to check if anyone else has noticed the site comeback (and having the same problems) and I logged in here.

Well, I'm not alone, as I can see.

I read all the posts. Frankly, my hopes are now near to zero.

On a marginal note: do you remember the look and feel of the previous site ?

Now, look at it now. There is a lot of self promotion, and these graphics:

    http://www.diamondcs.com.au/images/sub_feature_panel_reseller.jpg
    http://www.diamondcs.com.au/images/sub_feature_panel_contact.jpg
    http://www.diamondcs.com.au/images/sub_feature_panel_software.jpg
    http://www.diamondcs.com.au/images/sub_feature_panel_books.jpg

In my experience, this kind of pre-cooked images with who-knows-who-these-people-are, looking to the infinity, shaking hands and so on are the mark of "there is nothing behind this."

Try to recall similar experiences, I bet you can.

BTW: I wrote to them in the past, when the old site was still online. Never got an reply. I request their newsletter a couple of years ago. Never got a message, not even when a new release of PG were announced in this forum.

    It's a shame.

    Agree.

I still find use for their freeware APT task manager as install it to ALL my units in the right-click context menu which is saved a lot of frustration.

Many of their offerings including the commercial ProcGuard were quite a decent piece of work.

I still have Process Guard on 2 of my machines.
Yes, it can be beaten by a few very advanced
bits of malware out there now. But i still find
    it worth having.

    Me too, great software.

As others have said, I don't think I would trust this new incarnation of diamondcs at this point.

Me too until recently when I decide that it was time to move on and I have gone for ProSecurity which I see as the natural successor to PG, ie, where PG would have evolved had its development been continued, but alas not to be.:'(

I know the name ProSecurity, but have never
tried it. If you are looking for something along the
lines of PG, i think quite well of Online Armor.

    Hi TouchuvGrey

Thanks for the suggestion. I have briefly tried the latest from OA but it did not sit that well for me as I run KIS 7...but that is a personnal viewpoint rather than a statement.

For me PS has improved and surpassed the defense that PG provided for so long...and I am sad to see it go the way of so many other ground breaking products.

Could you tell us which Malware you are talking about, an example?

    DCS Process Guard is back?

To Whom is interested to (mainly whom paid a lot of bucks to the fulfare license) and didn't received any support anylonger,
pay attention to whom came back to the life and was reincarnated or get back from a long vacation with new site at
    http://www.diamondcs.com.au/index.php
without any letter of appologies and fyI the new site just disappeared the old registered customer support area (whom paid a lof of money to the lifetime copy). Very bad! Do not relying purchasing any software there! Be cautious!

A real shame and disappointment. Diamond "DID" put out some Xtremely useful creations. It's beyond me how or why they would just fade into the sunset like this.

Cool, thanks! Very interesting, so cyberhawk is now threatfire right?
So they did not make a good result. But Process Guard does not fail against Bifrost, at least not related to firewall bypass mode.

This is going to be a neverending story.

    -->
    >Our website is being refurbished
    >There's been a lot going on at Cadmium over the last 4 years and we decided it's time for a change.
    >We have a number of improvements in the pipeline to provide you with a better website design service, so check back in the new year to see how we're getting on.
    >Please direct any enquiries to us via email or phone (details on left).

Text comes from the www.cadmium.com.au site, the "friends of diamondcs" who did the basic webdesign.
    Reminds me of something.

Apparently I'm missing the point. What does the website designer refurbishing their own website have to do with DiamondCS and how they run their business?

Considering it's been 2 years since his last post, you figure he would've explained himself more?

    C'mon guys, no problem.

@ Hipgnosis >Apparently I'm missing the point. What does the website designer refurbishing their own website have to do with DiamondCS and how they run their business? <

You don't miss anything. Idon't know and I don't care what they have to do with diamondcs. It's just the phrases > There's been a lot going on at... and we decided it's time for a change. We have a number of improvements in the pipeline to provide you with a better website design service, so check back in the new year to see how we're getting on< that remind me on the discussion on tds and " new programs just around the corner" and stuff like that.

@ 19monty64 Everything (and every diamondcs prog) was running fine at my side. So there was nothing to post. I'm not the expert to answer many of them technical questions.

    greets, paulson

There should be a letter on DCS website on the Home page explaining just what is going on. I am lost, just what does http://www.cadmium.com.au/ have to do with DCS thats prevents Wayne from answering email; updating programs: emailing keys. No wonder DCS's forum was closed.
