My gut feeling tells me it's a con. Old versions suggest cracked versions which they can provide serials for.

Anyone know if there is any truth to this:

"I just don't know anything about the actual whereabouts of Wayne Langlois, though, who maybe was the former chief of the other two guys.

He seems to have been lost somewhere in space since some earlier legal threats were being made by some truly ungrateful and evil customers (yeah, customers can really be evil sometimes, you might believe me)."

This person has a long post at Comodo dated Sept 11, 2007 in which he discusses all three DiamondCS team members. He mentions that Gavin Coe is recommending PG as "absolutely essential" at his website. What he says about Wayne makes some sense particularly given the little I know that has not been made public.

If so, then why would Gavin Coe's website link to purchase PG link to the new site and why would the purchase page say "product is not yet active" but also indicate that residents of Minnesota and Georgia will be charged a sales tax?

I would like to know this also, I bought PG a couple of years ago and I cant find out how to get to my code.
Not that I'm going to use it right now but if things look on the up and up with DCS then it would be nice to know how to retrieve my license.

    The site's URL hasn't changed.

I don't see that. The purchase page is functional.

All you need is the Email address you used when you bought your software and the password you got in the email you received after you submitted the purchase form
    http://www.diamondcs.com.au/members/
But as stated earler in the thread the members area page does not work, I purchased TDS-3($49.95 USD). When it was discontinued I was given a choice, Process Guard ($29.95 USD) or Worm Guard($29.95 USD) or Port Explorer($29.95 USD) Any way you look at it I am going to loose $20.00 dollars. I chose Process Guard, which I was planing to buy any way.

Neither my current general e-mail address, which I used for DiamondCS, nor the one I had before that work in the link just given, nor my password. I went through the 'forgotten password' procedure over 24 hours ago, but as feared, complete silence from Diamond CS.

So did I, I just my email that I sent DCS back...saying it delivery was delayed 24 hours because DCS mail box is full..I sent it two days ago. I would post the email but it is a personal email, and posting it would be against Wilders policy or have they changed that policy.

This is what I see. There is no way for me to purchase this from Digital River after I fill out all the information.

Plus, on the DiamondCS site, there is no way to click on the "buy now" button. It doesn't exist.

I was going to post about several of these same points, but got to your post and you said it all so perfectly well.

All of this boggles the mind. I been to Minnesota many times and my experience with businesses of any sort from them was public info was always timely whether it was a sad regret of closure or a change.

Anyone can easily see that this program has had a long list of dedicated customers and satisfied users, so it's beyond me why they would simply vanish right off the radar screen without a word.

Best of luck to everyone for some consolation from all this mystery.

I clicked "buy now" with the PayPal logo and it took me straight to PayPal. So they are apparently taking money again. Of course, I did not buy anything from them. I wonder just how much money they have acquired without giving anything in return?

One thing that certainly should be done is a formal "Message from Wayne" or something of the sort - on the website - that amounts to a mea culpa. Until that's done, to start taking orders and cash from people again takes a bit of chutzpah.

    I agree.
The question is....who is taking the $ ?
Maybe the company has been resurrected with new owners or partners?
Too many unanswered questions for me to even think of buying anything.

Well, I am happy to see so much ressurected interest as to the whereabouts of Wayne and DCS ! I had no idea there was a new site up and "running", but I had to take a look, and I also left a message concerning the Members Area (I have to retrieve my code for PE as well....)

As at least one other here has, I also requested that SOMEONE from DCS make an appearance here at Wilders in hope of clearing up the questions that have arisen since DCS apparently quit answering queries and seemingly disappeared.

I hope we all see/hear SOMETHING from them soon !!!! o_O

The silence says it all in my book, as has been said before, he cannot have been that sick not to hit the keyboard and post etc.

I had purchased three of their programs over the years, I am not going down that road again, once you lose the trust thats it in my book.
    A personal view of course.

Hi, folks: Much has been speculated here about the resurface of DiamondCS and Wayne's whereabouts, this is exactly what this purposed "new" identity or perhaps "new" salvage expert wants---words of mouth, a mostly effective advertising weapon, and free of charge. One easy way, IMO, to get to the bottom of this mess, is to do these:
    (1) some one in Perth, Australia to run an extensive search of death certificates, to verify Wayne is indeed still a living soul on this planet.
    (2) Again, some one in that part of globe to run an extensive search of business registry, just to see who is NOW in control of that underground(ghost) company.
Any business running from a shadowy place, sucking in quick bucks is highly questionable. Buyers be aware, and wary.

    Folks,

We really don't need to turn this into a tabloid fueled fishing expedition. Let the facts play out as they may.

If inquiries to support remain unanswered, well, that's a salient piece of data. By the same token, if an answer is offered, that's a bit of data as well (just don't quote it verbatim here as per the TOS - paraphrase the major message if needed).

    As always, caveat emptor

131 now! I'd have thought it would have been more honest if they informed potential buyers that it's well out of date.
