Is it possible to block a particular IP Address using a firewall ? I use Jetico Personal Firewall v1. Saw an outbound connection on my firewall. An ip address locator traced the ip address to an ISP in New Jersey. I don't know about them. Would like to block this and other systems from collecting info from my PC.

    Hello vinn,

In Jetico 1, you can easily block an IP (or range)

Got to windows "Start~ Jetico personal firewall~ Configuration wizard" here you will find the "Blocked zone", you can add the IP there. (This will block all outbound and inbound to/from that IP)

    Hi vinn:

You got your Jetico answer from Stem. Good.

I just wanted to suggest you have a look at PG 2 (free) it helps by blocking millions of sites! They update it daily. It is light and it works. You can also add sites like your NJ one in the permanent block list with a single click!
