are you using the Av or ESS ? I'm using ESS. Maybe they are working differently right now.

    TY for the information Shep.

I've downloaded trial NOD 32, ran advanced set up then an on demand scan , it found 0.

Download and updated it , installation all smooth no issues that I can see (yet)

I will go through Blackspear's set up tomorrow. I also downloaded the 50 page install manual.

So now my set up is Kerio 2.1.5 FW, SS 5.5.7 with AV active off, NOD 32 and PeerGuardian 2 with many ip's blocked. System very fast and light.

Everything is working perfect now with this release running Vista x64! Eset has exceeded my expectations once again which is why I will never use any other company besides them great job and keep up the hard work because it shows!

The RC changes say "ability to install over version 2"
I tried the same and got the message as per image attachedo_O
I had even tried quitting the program and then installing it
    OS: Vista Basic

Are you actually able to uninstall v2 manually or you also get an error?

Any updates on freezing Windows? I got it with ALL versions so far, and I don't trust it to be fixed, since I don't see anything in the changelog.

Which type of tests were you able to run? I have randomly chosen some, but all of them failed due to being blocked by ESS. Didn't you actually disable real-time file system protection in error? It is crucial for full detection of leaks.

Just tried it, it still freezes my Windows:mad: Removed drivers from System32\drivers in safe mode and it uninstalled it, only way to get rid of it.

Did a repair install over the top.......No luck, still nothing showing.

I'll just leave it for now, as Marcos said: "I can't tell now what licenses are already in the database on the server dedicated for license checking, I'll need to ask our developers."

    Hi there,

I'm having the same issue as some of you that after a minute or 2 my OS hard freezes. I have to hard reset my system and the only way to get rid of the program is to boot in safe mode and do a system restore. I had the same issue with beta 2. It's a real pitty since I think ESET is the best out there, but there is a definate problem with firewall side of the security suite.

    I'm running Vista Ultimate x64.

    :)

Besides the 'email tagging' issue, which is getting fixed and the license info showing........it's running great here!

Just installed NOD32 AV Release Candidate. UI issues I had have been fixed - specifically maintaining focus in Outlook 2003 'Find' fields, which now works. I never had any more issues, other than occasional problems with the UI not refreshing and it's too early to say if they have been fixed too. At the moment I'm assuming so :)

    Otherwise, I'd buy it now...

    Hello

Since Beta1 and Beta2 and now RC1 the Programms NOD32AV or ESSV3 has many Problems with Truecrypt, saving Changes, deinstallation, Excluding.

Now i am waiting for RC2.
When the Final not work with my PC, with my Hardware and my Programms.....
On the 31.10.07 is my License ending. And then... Eset not work... bye bye Eset.
I like to work with my PC. When i make experimenting and frickling, i install SuSE 10.3 :D or GDATASlowMotionSoftware

ok Back to NOD 2.7.. its working and running smoth and fine with 0 Errors.

Was heisst eigentlich auf englisch " Eset verschlimmbessert seine Produkte" ?

Now, for your next answer use maybe this  or this  or that :-*

@pcversteher Well, I think, for the actually thought purpose, i.e. the virus protection, become the program quite better and better. :thumb:

For the first question: When it's ready.
For the second: I'm using Vista 32-bit. It works just great here. ;)
