pbcl.dll was the baddie... problem solved. LnS is a keeper!

Many thanks to Phant0m and Climenole! Time is a most valuable commodity, thanks again for sharing yours.

I'll keep my PC away from myself for a few hours. The little guy deserves a rest

    I'm back! :)

I didn't want to open a new thread so I follow up on this one. The game is the new Quake Wars: Enemy Territory demo.

I need to create a rule on LnS but need some basic counseling... again...

This is the info I got:

    Incoming:
    UDP: 27733
    UDP: 3074
    UDP: 33060-33070

    Outgoing:
    TCP: 3074

Now I need to integrate this on LnS. I'll just copy/edit my rule for BF2 but have no idea what to do with the incoming UDPs...
If I create a rule on Internet Filtering:
    In Range A:B
    3074-33070
    Is this ok?

Or should I use Application Filteringo_O

    Thanks!

Yes, this is Ok. you need 3 rules for UDP and 1 rule for TCP.
Note: I think you need anyway to select "Inbounds and Outbounds" in the "Direction" group. But since it is mentioned "Incoming" for UDP, the ports have to be put in the "Source PC>>Net/Dest NET>>PC" zone.
For TCP, the ports has to be in the other zone "Dest PC>>Net...".
No, first you need to create rules in the internet filtering part.
Then when it will work, you can have the application associated to the rule. This is a 1st refinement.
Then you could also specify the ports in the application filtering. This would be a 2nd refinement.

    Hi bombing :)

To find the log: options tab , click on the log button...

You have nothings in the log because the logging is not activated for this rule.

    No "!" in third column...

Why don't start a NEW thread for this ? The subject was Battlefield 2... not "qw.et"
