Hi C.S.J.,When I had a 3 year OEM for FSIS 2006, and attempted to upgrade to 2007 I had to contact support. However, there was no problem as they gave me a link for the 2007 OEM version. I assume that each year one would have to do that, but it is not really a problem.

Based upon that, I would expect that the OEM would be upgraded as long as the license was valid.

    Regards,
    Jerry

thanks, shame i turned it down then, it would have been valid for most of the 2008 year.

lol oh well, it can be sometimes addictive to keep trying AV's (yes, i mean you trjam ) , and even more so now i have rollbackrx, as its really easy to set up a snapshot for each av.

i did take the offer, but no longer have it :)

but if i would have known the OEM f-secure licences can be upgraded to new versions by getting the oem versions, i definatly would not have turned down any free licence. :)

I sent my email this evening, asking for the OEM upgrade, so hopefully I'll get it in a few days.

I can't wait for it released now! I think the most thing from which people are expecting is performace (start-up speed, scanning speed, ect.). Don't worry, the performace one of the big promises.

    Had a reply:

    Dear Simon,

    Thank you for contacting F-Secure.

We do not have the 2008 oem version yet. We will put up the announcement on our website.

Please feel free to contact us again should you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

    Best regards,
    Charles

Care to provide a link? Don't know if it's me, but I can't see it on there, other than a pre-launch flash animation.

You might be so tired you could not properly download and install it. The what if the license got blacklistedo_O??

Best to get a good night's rest and then head into the job refreshed in body and mind.:D

We'll be eager to see how you make out.

    Best,
    Jerry

I'm from Finland and FSIS 2008 is last program which I install on any computer. I have seen so many peoples buying a new computer just because old one is too slow. Reason for that is FSIS... It's must better to use some other AV than buyng new computer.
