Restoring Image...NOT!

I'm trying to restore an image from a successful backup. I have come to the screen that says "Acronis loading, please wait..." and have waited and waited and waited. A couple of hours have passed. At this point I assuming that something is not right. I have searched the forums for "Acronis loading, please wait", but nothing comes up. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

 

Are you running True Image from within Windows or via the bootable Rescue cd?
The hang is probably due to wireless devices (keyboard or mouse) or a usb hub with several usb devices connected.
Where is the Backup Image?
What version and build of TI?

I am booting ATI Rescue from a tiny USB flash drive.
I don thave any wireless device but I do have a lot of USB device (mouse, keyboard, speaker, flash drive, external hd, and camera)
The drive image is located inside my external hard drive as I have mentioned above
I am using Acronis True Image v10

 

I was running v9 but I down loaded v10 (trial) and tried that. Everything seems to be working at the moment. My backup is on an internal drive. I appreciate your response.

Try the acpi=off no apic workaround as detailed in the Acronis forum sticky titled Please Read Before You Post.
