Try contacting kasperky direct:-I'm sure they would help and want to know about probs you're having:-its in their inerest to know of any probs with software
Re-Fresh inbstal so no driver conflicts:blink:P installs drivers for your hardware so you really cannot rule that out 100%(unlikely though!)
just a thought, hoe do you connect to internet, router or modem?

Some posts suggesting that the thread starter change to another AV product have been removed.

When a thread is posted with specific questions or issues, such as asking how to make a product or a feature within a product work properly, then all replies should be along that line. That's what the thread is about. It's not an opportunity to tell the person to switch to whatever product you like or use.

Nope, as it happens i have installed 6.0 and 7.0 without issue's on many danish pc's......................XP & Vista.

The only thing i can think of besides the obvious hardware conflict..................is disabling the NDIS filter in network connnection before you reboot.

I think your easiest way to get this resolved is to contact Kaspersky and give them details of installed hardware on your PC,that way it stps us trying to guess what is causing problem, which to be honest is all any forum can do(unless you actually hit lucky and get a reply from someone with exactly same PC with exactly same problem:-very unlikely!)

You might have a conflict between the NDIS network driver that Kaspersky installs and a specific driver for the network card that you have in your PC. Try to install the KAV with minimum components, without "web anti-virus" or "e-mail anti-virus" components. Also, try posting your particular hardware configuration (including the hardware drivers that are installed on your system) on the official forums (with the description of your problem), it might be helpful for Kaspersky's developers to figure out the exact cause of the problem.

You could try finding an updated driver for your network card. Install the driver before KAV.

According to your first post, you are trying the demo version of KAV 7 (23.6MB).

Try installing the official version instead (21.4MB) and see what happens: http://www.kaspersky.com/productupdates?chapter=186435857&downlink=206908535

While installing, you can activate the trial mode as well.

Regcleaners apps is always recommended in between installations.
