anyone tried a spycar test on this

    ESS nor NOD32 is not a behavior blocker, it won't detect a thing unless it's an actual piece of malware.

    what is the point of doing a behavior test on something that is not designed to detect behavior?

    those kinds of tests and apps that use it only lead to false positive, thus making the whole thing pointless.

    well one is to see how is does and Eset says they do both spyweay and virus so it would not heart to try it out on just to see out it scores out on it it wont heart anything

    Why not try it yourself and post your result here. That would be interesting to find out...

    not necessary to try something which has been discussed before . These are behaviour analysis tests , HIPS programs can detect them (also Windows Defender , AFAIK detects some) but NOD32 and ESS doesn't guard the registry , they do not monitor the behaviour of the programs and they do not detect non-malicious files :thumb:

    I tried the first spycar test: with ESS 1b enabled, I was able to download the spyware software and install it without any problem; and after installation the spycar software was fully running.......

    See above. Spycar would be a "junk" detection. It does no harm, so why bother detecting it and increasing the database size?
