I love a security suite that is supported by "unobtrusive ads" LOL

Erm, so what's wrong with simple ad banners inside program? I've seen hundreds of far more annoying ways to promote payable versions or to gain ravenue and offer it for free...

Read post two and click on the link. After you read post 7 of that thread if you still want a program like it, but one that is much more reputable, you could always install and try Prevx 2 for free, at least until it finds something.

I remember my Opera browser having ads like that, then I went to the paid version. :D

Point taken, I have tried it a while ago and it did "find" malicious programs but the problem was it "found" them on a fresh install... o_O

Take it from a habitual installer of security software when I say I didn't even think about trying this one. All right I thought about it, but I didn't. LOL.

Free does not mean valuable. I tried to install it 2 X but it was gone on reboot (killed by some of my Cyberhawk or other security software like AVAST HOME). Spybot Search and Destroy can detect two important spywares in it: SPYBLOCK & CYBERDEFENDER so, for me, it's bad software and I suspect it detects only false positives...!!

Yeah I'm almost sure it flags its own banner ads as spyware :D

    Adware in a security suite?
That doesn't seem right to me.

    Nope.
    There's something definitely wrong there.

Hmmm... something odd going on there. Next thing you know, someone will be starting a nasty rumor that programmers actually need to earn a livelihood. :cautious:  o_O

By that reasoning spyware and adware programmers need to earn a living too.
