Error Processing?

An ESS 1b window frequently pops-up on my desktop - something about 'Error Processing'. It always indicates 1-error, but the window remains open indefinitely! There's a tick box at the bottom of the window to supposedly allow cancelling the operation, but it doesn't seem to work. The only way I've found to get rid of that window is to terminate the app in Task Manager.

I had the same issue and in my case it was brought about by Outlook 2007. The ESS Error Processing window was on my desktop for a long time and then right after I closed Outlook, ESS' window closed on its own!

 

Ok, I'll do that the next time it happens.

Jo Ann, you may be onto something for sure as I also use MS Outlook.

 

Also had this problem through beta 1 and 1a.
