just installed the latest batch of Vista updates 7/11 and after rebooting
NOD32 couldn't start. Had to reverse the installs to get it working again.
    Way to go Microsloth.

No problems here, I have installed all updates on two Vista machines running NOD32. Both computers are running fine.

Perhaps the updates are conflicting with something else, which is cascading to NOD32?

It appears the .NET update is hosing a bunch of different things. The SANS Internet Storm Center has received numerous reports of all types of software being messed up. There does not appear be to any pattern emerging yet though as to what types of software are being affected.
