AVS error

    when I try to install AVS (after unistalling Avira PE and restarting the pc), I receive the following error.
    I redownloaded the file 3 time but still have the same error. o_O :(
    what can I do ? :'(

    I had a similar pop-up recently, and the problem turned out to be the MS-installer needed to be updated. Hope this helps.

    Go to forum.kaspersky.com and search: registry cleaner and C++ runtime error. Remove AVS run both files, reboot and reinstall AVS. It worked for many of us. Hope it works for you too.

    ... that's not a c++ runtime error. so it won't help.
    what migh solve is installing win installer 3.1 and installing avs 2.5: http://download.nullsoft.com/avs/AVS_v25.exe

    No it's not a C++ runtime error, but the file also fixes the msi error. It fixes both problems.
