Smart Security crash at startup!

    This method worked for me too. (XPsp2)
    I think in particular you need to remove Eset from All users/Application data.

    Mine crashed just that one time and has been working perfectly ever since.
    There must be some common link for everyone who had the crash issue, I wonder just what that may have been. My crash was immediately after a reboot from MS Updates installing, another reboot and things have been working since then.
